Service Description

To meet ISO 45001:2018 requirements for occupational health and safety management system in terms of its objective to fulfil legal and other requirements, this course is to provide an overview of the Laws of Malaysia in Occupational Safety and Health Act to determine its applicability to an organization’s activities and subsequently to establish legal register and perform evaluation of compliance as per ISO 45001:2018 requirement. The essential components of this overview session are: - • OSHA Act 1994 Amendment 2022 • OSHA Act Regulations and ICOP Lack of awareness in legal requirements may result in legal offences. When this happens, organizations may face hefty penalties and damage to organizational reputation. OBJECTIVES 1) To provide an overview of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Amendment 2022) and applicable Regulations as well as Industry Code of Practices (ICOP). This will assist in establishing legal register and evaluation of compliance. 2) To prepare the team to establish processes to ensure compliance to legal requirements. Course Duration: Full Day Topic 1: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) 1994 (Amendment 2022) Topic 2: OSHA Regulations Topic 3: OSHA ICOP -- LEARNING OUTCOMES The participants will strengthen their knowledge in legal requirements and ensure processes to comply. Important Notes: E-certificates will be issued out upon completion of the course requirements. Hardcopy certificates will be charged RM10 per piece upon request. Free hardcopy certificates will be issued out for companies who do group bookings of 20 pax and above upon request.
